The ending just didn't do it for me. I felt a little The free adult chat line apocalypse all I've read in this series was lost and for nothing. And, this book was like the others in the series humorous, enjoyable, and reverse harem. But endings are very important especially since this was a 4-book series. Anyone agree with me on this about the unsatisfying ending?

I looked forward to each and every installment, and it makes me sad that this is the last time I'll get to read one. The four horseman are a hell of a group! They're not perfect by any means, but as the series went on, I fell in love with them more and more. Jude frust One Apocalypse is the final book in The Dark Side series by Kristy Cunning which has become one of my favorite paranormal reverse harem series ever!

Jude frustrated me the most, but sometimes, I think it's because he's my favorite. However, when it comes to the guys my favorite seems to fluctuate as often as Paca's does. Lol They all took turns wooing me and leaving me swooning. At the same time, I wanted to kick each of their asses a time or two. Don't get me wrong, the situation they're in is super fucking complicated, so I can't hold everything completely against them when they fuck up. Mistakes are bound to happen, and in some cases, their actions are understandable. No matter what, Paca became the center of their world, and by the end, they were worthy of her in my eyes.

I'll miss Paca most of all. She's one of my favorite characters ever! Usually, childish, petty, vain heroines are loathsome creatures that I find extremely hard or impossible to tolerate. In Paca's case though, those things are what makes me love her as much as I do! Her immature antics, vanity, and shallow behavior had me cracking up throughout every book in the series.

She may have a long list of faults, but she is strong, resilient, smart, loyal, and never backs down to anyone or anything. Watching her go about winning back her harem and trying to save them and the world showed who she truly was beneath all the costumes, ever changing hair color, tantrums, and crazy.

It was easy to see deep down our dear Apocalypse had the biggest heart of all. The storyline is fun, entertaining, exciting, fantastical, suspenseful and intriguing! We get trips to The free adult chat line apocalypse and hell, comedy, action, suspense, and steam!

Most people will probably be fine with it, but I feel let down. The hints were there, it was my own fault for trying to ignore them.

I had fun right up until the end. The plot is very simple.

Paca and her guys spend the entire book preparing for the battle with Jahl. She continues to puzzle over the clues she left herself before she died the first time. They fight various people and monsters for practice, trying to level up and discover more about their powers.

Their focus is primarily on the upcoming fight. I actually liked that the plot was very straight forward. Instead we got lots of fight scenes that actually had a purpose. The best part of this series for me has always been the dark humor and Paca as a character. The relationships in this book are odd. It turns out the guys are physically incapable of telling Paca they love her. I would have liked a little more romance. Then there's the ending As I said, I think most people will be fine with it.

I also found it frustrating, bittersweet, and I felt cheated. The epilogue begins 5 years later with another ghost girl stalking the guys. She becomes real when something attacks the guys. The issue for me is that the Paca I spent four books with is dead. Paca 2. I miss my Paca, and I'm so sad that she's gone.

I feel like Paca 2. I kind of think they should have died too, but I guess living without her was an okay punishment. View all 3 comments. Spoilers ahead, 2. Review of the entire series is contained here because I'm lazy like that. Spoilers ahead Our h started as a ghost girl who realized she could only stay in the present if she stayed around one of the four men in the house she's "haunting". For five years she stays with them falling in love with each as time passes. She's fiercely pro Spoilers ahead, 2.

She's fiercely protective of the guys and one night as someone tried to kill them she turns into a girl. From there we proceed to get the overly long story of Paca, the devil's daughter, and her four horseman of the Apocalypse. She offers them sex, they go looking to hook up because they obviously can't trust someone who's only desire is to have sex with them all. Paca's devotion continued throughout and we just don't get the same from the guys. She develops super awesome powers as time passes and the truth of her identity is slowly revealed. Paca reminded me of Sarah from this author's mc books.

I loved her in books 1 and 2 but by book 3 the humorous yet murderous psycho routine started wearing on me. Book 3 was tedious with the fumbling attempt at The free adult chat line apocalypse Paca and the events that led to their predicament.

So much talk of balance to try to reason a crazy ass plot Book 4 was ok but the ending was a disappointment, to have had her leveled up so much only to return as a bumbling and immature character made me feel cheated. After enduring so much to boost her powers she deserved to at least return as a badass bitch, I didn't believe the guys loved her, with them thinking she gets a power boost if they "confess" their love and Jude basically trying to "force" that connection it came across as them trying to improve her powers rather than genuine All in all I liked Paca Aug 04, Namera [The Literary Invertebrate] rated it liked it Shelves: adultreverse-haremfantasy.
